Context
Singular is Geopost’s marketplace, built on Shopify. It brings brands and merchants together for shoppers who speak 11 languages.
Approach
We handle the marketplace’s Shopify integration and maintenance, and we added an AI shopping assistant to it. It answers every shopper in their own language, follows the thread of the conversation and shows live product carousels right inside its answers.
The assistant searches the Shopify catalogue through an agentic loop, and answers only from a reviewed knowledge base on the shop, its brands and their policies, so it never makes up a shipping or returns policy. Upstream, AI translates the catalogue and the brands into 11 languages, enriches the product pages and drafts the knowledge base, which goes live only after human review.
We run it as a product. Personal data is stripped before anything is indexed, and inputs are guarded against prompt injection. The cost of every model call is tracked and capped daily, every conversation is traced, an evaluation harness replays real exchanges, and model choices are set in one place.
Outcome
A marketplace that speaks its shoppers’ languages, and an assistant whose quality is measured: every answer can be rated, and satisfaction reads off a dashboard.
